The school starts from the library hardware facilities, campus environment creation, curriculum setting, and campus activities to create a reading atmosphere and encourage teachers and students to read. 为了让师生爱上阅读，打造书香校园，学校从图书馆硬件设施、校园环境创设、课程设置、校园师生活动等方面着手，营造读书氛围，鼓励师生阅读。4月为我校读书月，全校举办了“悦读，钥读”的主题阅读活动。让阅读成为一种生活方式，每个人争做终身阅读者。

The elegant library has a calming effect on all who walk into it. There are over 20 thousand books on its shelves. It can accommodate over 200 students, with an area of 900 ㎡, and has a reading place for every teacher and student. Here, everyone can find their favorite books and explore ancient mystery.
走进明亮而洁净的图书馆，雅致的环境让人心沉静。金铭钥图书馆面积900㎡，藏书量达两万余册。书籍涵盖教育体育、文学艺术、社会心理、自然科学等二十余种类目，其中世界经典名著1000余本，非常适合中小学生阅读。图书馆内能容纳200余人次同时阅读，为学校的阅读、教学教研等活动提供了优质的硬件基础。自开馆起，这里成为了每位师生的阅读宝地。在这里，大家都能找到喜欢的书籍，探索个中奥秘。

Star of Reading
Who is our star reader? Ella, the librarian, counts the number of books borrowed by students and the checks the reading assignments, then digitally records it in the scoring system and selects the reading star of the month. Let’s have a look.
谁是图书馆阅读的小明星呢？每个月图书管理员Ella老师都会将学生借阅的数量和阅读的时长计入积分系统，评选出本月读书之星。我们一起来欣赏下读书之星的风采吧！

The scoring system stimulates students’ enthusiasm. The separation and establishment of reading goals allow people to persevere. The gamification effect allows them to develop more interest in reading.
有趣的阅读积分系统，让学生们进入一个良性循环。学生阅读积极性大大被激发，在循环中螺旋式上升。阅读目标的拆分和建立，让人可以持之以恒的坚持。他们就像在玩升级打怪的游戏，逐渐培养出爱好阅读的好习惯。

Curriculum
Chinese and English reading classes are a key part of the school curriculum. The school has developed the school APP and introduced one of the best digital reading system – Renaissance, to provide a diversified platforms for students to read.
中英文阅读早已纳入学校的课程体系，学校专门开设了语文阅读课、英文阅读课，同时开发了学校线上学习APP、引进全球优选的睿乐生阅读系统，为学生阅读提供多样化的平台。

In Chinese reading class, the teacher will first stimulate students' interest, and then students can build on this. Finally, students will write a report on some of the things or characters in the book, such as drawing, scientific pocket, or mind map.
语文阅读课上，老师会首先激发学生对这本书的兴趣，再由学生自由阅读，最后学生会以绘画、科学口袋或思维导图等多种方式将书中的某个知识或人物呈现。
Our School APP provides an English picture book, AI dialogue, and fun mini-games to strengthen students' English foundation.
学校独创的APP提供英文绘本阅读，AI对话等功能，还有趣味小游戏，夯实学生英文基础。
The school’s reading systems- Renaissance, which accurately detects students' English reading levels through the STAR assessment system and matches e-books according to each student's level and hobby. Capable students can also take advanced literature courses taught in English to further enhance their cultural perception.

Recommending my good books
In April, our school held the "Recommending my good books" activity. All the teachers and students actively participated in the activity. Each one recommended a good book they liked and introduced the book's content and the reasons for recommending it. This activity greatly encouraged student’s enthusiasm for reading between teachers and students. Reading & sharing has become a trend.
人间四“阅”天，读书正当时。四月我校举办了“我的好书推荐”活动，全校师生积极参与，每人推荐一本书自己喜欢的好书，介绍好书内容与推荐理由。这次活动极大地激发了师生间阅读的热情，阅读分享，已蔚然成风。

“Language is the healer of trouble.” Sometimes, a word is enough to change a person. In April, teachers and students made bookmarks. Everyone chooses their favorite quotes or mottoes to make bookmarks and share them with others.
哲学家米南德说：“对人来说，语言是治愈烦恼的医生。”有时候，改变一个人，一句话就够了。四月，全校师生进行了书签制作活动。每个人选择自己喜欢的名人名言或者座右铭制成书签，与他人分享。

Teachers’ reading
Teachers are encouraged to take the lead in reading for their students. CC, the teaching director, selected and purchased more than 100 high-quality books for the teachers to help the teaching team improve their quality. The school also provides a fan Deng reading club monthly card for every faculty member free of charge, enriching the faculty's way of self-growth.
“要想学生好学，先要先生好学。”学校鼓励教师阅读，教学处为教师甄选并采购了百余本优质书籍，助力教师团队提升专业素养。学校为教职工免费办理了樊登读书会月卡，丰富教职工自我学习与成长的途径。
