“爱之花开放的地方，生命便能欣欣向荣。”公益活动是学校社会情感教育的拓展和延伸，是培养教师与学生关爱他人、关爱社会的途径。本学期金铭钥学校开展了一系列公益活动，鼓励大家以所学所能回馈社会。
Public service is the expansion and extension of school PSHE Education, and is a way to train teachers and students to care for others and the society. Small acts of kindness are the manifestation of a kind heart. We undertook a series of activities united by the theme of public service. Teachers and students were inspired to give back to society through what they learned.
1、党员教师走进贫困小学 Public service about a poor primary school.
两个城市，两所学校，那些老师，这些学生，因为爱美好地相遇了。6月28日，我校党员教师走进行唐县北城寨明德小学开展了一场公益活动。教师讲授了一堂科学实验课—《会飞的纸蝴蝶》。学生们在有趣的实验中学到了朴实的真理，增强了对知识的探索欲。随后我校进行了图书和学习用品的捐赠活动。
Two cities, two schools, some teachers have met in an activity which is full of love. Our teachers walked into Mingde Primary school with a science experiment lesson - flying paper butterflies. Students learned simple truth through interesting experiments and were stimulated to explore knowledge. We donated books and other supplies to the school after the lesson.

2、线上音乐公益课堂 Online public music classes.
公益活动是石家庄金铭钥学校教育工作中的重要一环，我们的教师也在身体力行，为学生做出榜样。本学期，Wendy和Yolanda两位老师坚持每周通过远程互动直播方式为南昌农村小学教授两节音乐课。目前，南昌石堎小学和坝上小学是我们的帮助对象，两位老师通过大屏幕为他们打开了音乐之窗，而学生们的热情与投入也带给老师深深的感动。
Public welfare activities are an important part of our education, and our teachers are also an example for students. At the beginning of this semester, Wendy and Yolanda, provided 2 music lessons per week for Nanchang Rural Primary school through remote interactive live streaming. Currently, we are assisting Shiling Elementary School and Bashang Elementary School in Nanchang, where students had virtually no music classes before. Our two teachers opened the window of music for them and they also were deeply moved by the students' enthusiasm and devotion.

3、慈善捐赠 Donation
服务他人、服务社会的精神是中华民族的传统美德，也是我校鼓励提倡的校风。爱心捐赠，情暖校园。本学期，我校向留守儿童、伤残人士、贫困家庭和医院捐赠了总价达192240元的物资。
The spirit of serving others and society is the traditional virtue of China and the school spirit encouraged and advocated by our school. Our school donated materials to left-behind children, disabled people, poor families and hospitals, with a total value of 192,240 yuan this semester.

Every individual can do their part to help those around them in need. Philanthropy satisfies our longing for love and faith, and makes us realize that the world is better because of our existence. We will continue to provide opportunities and hope that students and teachers will actively participate in next semester!
