     大家好！时间过的很快，一转眼就到了2022年最后一天，明天就是2023年（兔年）。在此祝福大家遇兔呈祥、阖家欢乐、吉祥安康、心想事成！

On the occasion of bidding farewell to the old year and celebrate the new year, I would like to share with you six key words-gratitude, striving for success, surviving from the epidemic, international understanding, scientific and technological innovation, and dreams for the future.

      值此辞旧迎新、欢庆跨年之际，我想跟大家分享6个关键词——心怀感恩、奋发有为、疫情磨砺、国际理解、科技创新、梦想未来。

We live in a peaceful and fastest developing country. We have a lot of time, space and opportunities to realize our dreams. We can share happy times with our families. We can also grow healthy and make progress together with our classmates. We are so lucky, so we should learn to be grateful. A person who knows to appreciate others can feel the happiness of life and the beauty of the world.

      我们生活在一个和平的、发展最快速的年代和国家，我们有大量的实现自己梦想的时间、空间以及机会，我们能够和家人一起分享快乐的美好时光，我们也能够和同学们一起健康成长、共同进步。我们何其幸运，所以我们要学会感恩，做一个时常感恩的人。一个会感恩的人，才能感受人生的幸福、世界的美好。

In the past year or even longer, we would like to thank the relevant authorities at higher levels for their guidance and support for our school's work, the school board for its firm and strong support, all parents, friends and partners who support and help our school's development, and all teachers and students for their joint efforts. It is everyone's efforts and perseverance that make our school not only develop healthily and steadily, but also achieve a series of excellent results, laying a solid foundation for the future development of the school. Through more than a year's efforts, our school has won many honors and qualifications, such as Forbes China Top 100 International Schools in 2022, the founding member unit of the International School Sports Events Alliance, Beed Award Ideal Campus-Potential Star, the official test center of the SPCN, and the vice president unit of Shijiazhuang Private Education Association. These honors and qualifications represent that the school can provide more resources and opportunities for all teachers and students to compete, educate and develop. All teachers and students have also won hundreds of awards and honors at all levels. For example, in the 2022 Math Kangaroo, Victor Liu, a G4 student, won the Global Achievement Award with full marks. Three math teachers, Helen Hao, Becky Liu and Andy He, were hired as members of the Chinese Expert Committee of Math Kangaroo. By September 1, 2022, there are 350 students in total at school. We believe that there will be unlimited potential for our further development.

     通过之前一年多的努力，我校收获了福布斯中国2022年度国际化学校100强、国际化学校体育赛事联盟创始会员单位、必达亚洲理想校园——潜力新星学校、国际英文拼词大会官方测评考点、石家庄市民办教育协会副会长单位等众多学校荣誉和资质。这些荣誉和资质代表着学校能够为全体师生提供更多的竞赛、育人、发展等资源和机会。全体师生也获得了数百项各级各类奖项和荣誉，比如在2022年袋鼠数学思维挑战赛中，当时的四年级刘宇轩同学以满分成绩获得全球满分成就奖，郝林静、刘思美、和会敏三位数学老师被聘为袋鼠数学思维挑战活动中国专家委员会成员。截止2022年9月1日，学校学生人数达到了350人，我们相信后续发展也将潜力无限。

This year, the first batch of graduates of our school achieved good results in the IGCSE examination: 100% in Mathematics A and A *, 100% in Chinese A and A *, 100% in Chemistry A and A, and 100% above English B (English B is roughly equivalent to the level of IELTS 6-6.5). Our graduates not only have excellent grades, but also have achieved all-round development, showing great potential in many aspects. We believe that they can meet challenges, overcome difficulties and live a happy life in the future world.

      我校今年首届毕业生在IGCSE考试中，获得佳绩：数学A和A*获得率100%，中文A和A*获得率100%，化学A和A*获得率100%，英语B以上获得率100%（英语B大概相当于雅思6-6.5分的水平）。我们的毕业生不仅成绩优异，而且个个全面发展，在很多方面都表现出了巨大的潜力，相信在未来世界中能够接受挑战、战胜困难并且赢得幸福人生。

Brother School, St. Bees (Dongguan) also got its first batch of graduates. Up to now, three students have received interview invitations from Cambridge University UK, and many others have been admitted to the top 10 universities in the UK and Australia.

     兄弟学校圣比斯（东莞）也迎来了首届毕业生。截止目前，有3位同学收到英国剑桥大学面试邀请，另外还有多位同学获得英国排名前10、澳洲前10等大学录取。

These achievements have further proved the advantages and infinite possibilities of our group education. We always insist on running a school with heart and provide quality education. Our school has gradually been recognized by parents and society. We has received silk banners and letters of thanks from our parents, which touched me and my team very much. Only by doing better can we live up to the expectations of our parents.

Surviving from the epidemic

疫情磨砺

"The edge of a sword comes from sharpening, and the fragrance of plum blossoms comes from bitter cold". We have experienced three years of the epidemic, and the school has also experienced the most difficult three years, but we have survived. I believe that after three years of the epidemic, we are all more tenacious, more confident, more courageous and wiser people. China's economy and society will surely recover and develop in 2023. We will eventually return to the normal state of study, life and work. Let's get ready to start again for a better tomorrow.

International understanding

The 2022 Qatar World Cup, which just ended, has attracted the attention of the whole world. Football, as the most influential sport in the world, its charm lies not only in the competition, but also in the encounter, integration and understanding between countries,people and ourselves. This sports event for more than a month gave us too many unforgettable moments and touching stories. After five World Cups, Messi finally led the team to win the Qatar World Cup at the end of his career and won the World Cup as he wished. The whole world was excited, moved and celebrated. This cross-border recognition and support of Messi's spirit is also the international understanding of the multi-cultures we will inevitably encounter in the era of globalization. This spirit of perseverance and never giving up to dreams is precisely what can resonate with everyone.

      刚刚结束不久的2022卡塔尔世界杯精彩不断，吸引了全世界的目光。足球作为全世界影响力最大的运动项目，它的魅力不止在于赛场竞技，而更在于由此产生的国家与国家之间、人与人之间、人与自我的相遇、融合、理解。通过这场一个多月的体育盛事，留下了太多难忘的瞬间和感动的故事。当梅西历经五届世界杯，终于在职业生涯末期，率队夺得卡塔尔世界杯冠军，如愿捧起大力神杯，全世界为之兴奋，为之感动，为之庆贺。这种跨越国界的，对于梅西精神的认同和支持，也正是我们在全球化时代不可避免的、会遇见的多元文化之下的国际理解。这种对梦想的坚持、百折不挠的、永不服输的精神，恰恰是能够引起所有人共鸣的。

Scientific and technological innovation

When Shenzhou 15 and Shenzhou 14 successfully joined together in space, six astronauts, including Fei Junlong, Deng Qingming, Zhang Lu, Chen Dong, Liu Yang and Cai Xuzhe, took a space group photo in China's own "space home". The significance represented by this group photo will surely go down in the annals of history and be deeply engraved in the dream-pursuing history of China's scientific and technological innovation. Please remember the names of these heroes, they are the national stars we should pursue. Among them, 56-year-old Deng Qingming, the first batch of astronauts, backed up the country for 25 years and finally realized his dream. His sincere heart for the country's space industry is moving and worth learning by all of us.

     当神州十五号与神州十四号在太空顺利会师，费俊龙、邓清明、张陆、陈冬、刘洋、蔡旭哲等6名航天员一起在中国人自己的“太空家园”里留下了一张太空合影。这张合影所代表的意义，必将永载史册，深深地镌刻在中国科技创新的追梦史上。请大家记住这些英雄的名字，他们才是我们应该追求的民族之星、国家之星。其中，56岁的首批航天员邓清明为国家备份25年，最终圆梦。他怀着对国家对航天事业的赤诚之心，令人动容，值得我们所有人学习。

In 2022, whether you have or have no surprises in your study, life and work, happy or unhappy, accept or not, this winter is coming to an end, and the spring of 2023 is coming.
