光阴似箭，岁月如梭，中国共产党已经走过100年的风风雨雨。在党的100岁生日之际，金铭钥学校（原石家庄圣比斯学校）组织学生们前往西柏坡革命圣地，追忆红色历史，传承革命精神，开启一天研学之旅。
Time flies - the CPC has gone through 100 years of ups and downs. On the 100th birthday of the CPC, St Bees School SJZ organized students to visit Xibaipo, to recall the history and pass on the revolutionary spirit. Let’s start a day of research and study.

ST BEES SCHOOL
“少年强则国强，少年智则国智。”立足红色圣地西柏坡，孩子们在风雨中放声歌唱。遥想革命先辈在艰难困苦中依然心怀梦想、献身祖国、栉风沐雨、砥砺前行。天作巧合，淅淅沥沥下起了雨，但是雨中孩子们身姿挺拔，他们嘹亮的歌声掷地有声。
“If we are strong, China will be strong; If we are intelligent, China will be intelligent.” Standing on the Red Holy Land of Xibaipo, children sang in the wind and rain. Think of the forefathers who still have dreams and forge ahead in spite of hardships, the children were still singing tall and strong, though it happened to rain.
随后低年级孩子们围在画布周边，印下一只只小手掌，用蜡笔将手掌涂上五颜六色的色彩。一双双小手簇拥着国旗，是在祖国的荫庇下绽放的模样。
Then the younger children gathered around the canvas printed small palms and painted them in colour with crayons. A pair of small hands surrounded by the national flag, like a child who grew up under the protection of the motherland.
童心绘
老师带领学生们来到红色革命根据地，在纪念碑前集体肃立，向革命先烈敬献花篮。校内党员重温入党誓词，警醒自己勿忘初心，牢记使命。
The teacher led the students to the Red Revolutionary Base, they stood in front of the monument, and presented a flower basket to the revolutionary martyrs. CPC members in the school reviewed the party membership oath, remind themselves not to forget the original intention, remember the mission.
敬献花篮
走进西柏坡纪念馆，先辈的旧居如今人来人往，但窗明几净一如往昔。他们就是在这简陋的旧屋里，在每天伏在桌前的十几个小时里，召开了九月会议、七届二中全会，指挥了三大战役，描绘了新中国的宏伟蓝图。
Entering the Xibaipo Memorial Hall, people came and went, but the Windows are bright and clean as before. It was in this shabby old room that they held the September Conference and the Second Plenary Session of the Seventh Central Committee, commanded three major campaigns and drew the grand blueprint of New China.
先辈故居
革命精神永垂不朽，涤荡在这简朴的屋子里。如今屋外的世界已换新颜，当年求索的未来已经到来。而先辈们，诉说着不负韶华的历史，铭刻着只争朝夕的岁月。
The revolutionary spirit lives on in this simple house. Now the world outside the house has changed, and the future that was sought has arrived. And the ancestors, telling the history, told us to seize the day.
浮雕《新中国从这里走来》
平日里衣食无忧的学生们，在来到西柏坡前，也许无法想象100多年前那段战火纷飞的峥嵘岁月，无数革命烈士的鲜血挥洒在这穹顶之下。相信学生们通过此次研学，可以了解历史而敬畏历史，知晓艰苦而珍惜拥有。愿每一位学生都不负年少，发愤图强，争做国之栋梁！
Before coming to Xibaipo, students who are comfortable in their daily life may not be able to imagine the turbulent years of war over 100 years ago, under which countless revolutionary martyrs' blood was spilled. We all believe that after this trip, the students can understand history and respect history, know the hardship but cherish what they have.
